Default My Buddy Needs Some Help

He has a Fiberglas bass boat with rod lockers on both sides of the front deck. He is wanting to mount 2 pedestal bases for spider rigging. It looks like the bases are going to have to mount to the rod locker lids. Any ideas or pics ?

    Thanks,
    Cockrum

I'd go with one of Wayne's Dub-L-Seats. No mounting to the lid and he can take it out when he's not using it.

If you mount them to the locker tops you best be ready to beef up those lids or you might wind up in the lake from metal fatigue.

Put some good latches on those lids if you mount seat bases to them or somebody will go in the lake

    Just makes for good entertainment!!!!!!
Fender washers on good lids is all you need, could put a plate, depends on the lid. First few times you use em check em and titen as needed till they get good and tite. Good luck. Latches optional!!

agree with speck.....we use something similar to a dbl seat, and it works good without mounting anything.
