Picked up 4 bnm 14 footers and need to slide some reels under them. Any suggestions on spinning reels? need to be able to spool 8 or 10 pound test.

Just prefer spinning over bait cast reels. Have both. Bird down is right I fish with pole eyes down.

I fell in love with the Quantum PTi series some time ago. a bit $$$$ BUT for a day of walleye fishing have been worth every penny. So smooth, sometimes you gotta look to see if the bail is actually spinning when you are cranking. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/380471541691?lpid=82
