    Default Drift socks

Need to buy a drift sock, but have never used them. I run a 19' aluminum G3. What size and what brand. Was looking at a 60" on Cabela's website. Should I get 1 bigger one and one a little shorter for less windy days or just run one?

I run a 52" on an 1860 and sometimes I have to add a chain. It's pretty choppy when I have to do that. I wish I had gone bigger but I'll probably limp along.

The biggest cabelas has listed now on their site is a 56. Sure hope they bring back/or get in stock some more of the 65s or 77s. I called em a few weeks back and the lady said they were still listed on her computer so hopefully they will get them back in stock.

Someone order a couple of these from Amazon and let us know if they're any good.

I think I'm going to make me up a pair of 72" or 80" socks. i made a pair of 12" Socks I run when anchor fishing in current keeps the boat from swinging. Also have used them a few times off the bow on each side when Pulling crank baits with the big motor. Gets me down to around .08 at idle but don't forget about them being up there.
I have one 60" and it does no good. But also have a pair of chains and use them more then socks.
    Pete
