no rod limit or size limit. ONly 30 fish limit. I spect the current is gonna be flowing pretty good. Put in at Tommys trading post on and come out the channel markers, then go under the nridsge. Look to the left bout 100 yards up and look for the poles bout 1/4 mile off the main channel. Theres a ridge back there. That's the welfare hold from the channel to those markers. AT TIMES, you can wear them out there. I haven't heard of any good reports there though. Only good reports I have are from up river in some off the river old lakes

That big rain we got changed things drastically. I live in Louisville and a lot of our water hasn't even gotten to the Rez yet. I know someone who tried the welfare hole Saturday and didn't get a bite. It should get better as the water slows and clears just a little.

Thanks for the info, if things go right I am planning to leave here Benton, ky on Thursday and drive down to fish on Fri,Sat,and Sun. looks like the temps are going to be in the 60s there. I am so tired if this snow and ice and below freezing temps. I think alot of the bays on KY and Barkley Lakes are still frozen. If any of you guys come up here to fish this spring maybe I can give you a few tips on Ky lake.

Thanks guys I just talked myself into waiting a couple more weeks, since it is supposed to be in the 60s here in about 10 days and I need to get my boat out and give it a good checkup before I start fishing. That lake Washington tournament looks like it will be fun hope that you do real well on it. I would like to come down and fish around those cypress trees.
