I've caught all these species including walleye ( and BIG ones too) with Both nets. I do use the bigger diameter, deeper hooped rubber net from EGO when I pull cranks for walleye tho. The crappie size rubber net is not deep enough.

Ego, I got it at gander mountain in Little Rock last year. As what some of the others said about buffet fish getting out, I have never had that problem. Never catch any. :D

Cabela 6' rubber net 18" hole 12" deep. Rubber is the only way to go no more hook tangles. Now if your looking for big catfish dippers then pillows in Paragould Ar has some beast you can land a 150 pounder in that thing.

I didn't put a half I don't think. I also took the inside section out and removed the clips that lock it. Put the foam in and then clean out where the clip goes and reinstall.
