I think I might give it a shot this weekend. Jigs under a cork. Any reports that way. I HAVE GOT THE CRAPPIE ITCH.

I tried a few hrs last weekend and did not catch anything. I noticed they are not pulling as much water now so that may affect them.

I tried it last week also, without a bite. Water was perfect flow the day I was there.

I always enjoy fishing that flat. Good spot for a few.

Fished the spillway today. Fish will not hit jig/float. Even snagging was slow.

Maybe some more cold and a full moon phase will turn them on!

COE cut the spillway flow back on Thursday, and for some reason they decided to open the weir spillway on the lower lake. As a result, the spillway and the lower lake are down approx. 2' in the last couple of days. It will probably take the fish a few days to adjust to this big drop.

We've been fishing the lower lake 2-3 times a week with no luck. Did loose on 1/2 way to the boat. Haven't seen anyone catch any on the Lower.
