    Fished sardis Sunday. Was slow but they bit every now and then

    yep--lower won't be good until it gets cold for a couple of weeks straight.

    hmmm--sweet. the upper was upper 30's and got to 40 by the end of the day--was the first part (had to check my notes) feb when I hit the lower last year--might try sooner this year?

    Not to hijack this thread but will either of you elaborate on why the lower lake needs to have colder water for a period of time to be considered a good time to fish it? Thanks!

    Colder water equal less energy from fish, less energy from fish equal fish not fighting the current, fish not fighting the current equal fish going thru the spillway, fish going thru the spillway equal fish in the lower lake, and fish in the lower lake equal fishing considered good.
