    Default Out the back

I am going to pull some cranks out the back this year. What length rods? I am thinking I may vary the lengths to help in turns. What do you do? KS-10

Shorter in the middle longer as you go outside. I run6.6 , 8, 12. Also varying line length helps prevent tangles. Use what you already have. Some guys do quite well with same length poles.

Front to back 16, 12, 7. off each side. Prefer to have the front two 16's set as a down pole using ScottV rigs and two planer boards off each side. All planer board poles are MH 7 footers and exactly the same.

I am with Yikes, pull off the side. 14,12, 8, and 4'10", Put the 14 as far out as I can and the holder hold it and sink the rest as deep in the holder as they will go. I run longest lines on the longest poles and shorten as they come in, gives you the whole back of the boat to work the fesh in.

I am set on the sides. I push more than pull, but I use a 16, 12, 8 on each side. Was thinking I might run some out of the back. that's why I came up with 4 more. Have driftmasters 250's for the back. KS-10

If there strictly for straight of the back then 7' ugly sticks med heavy action would be good.
