Got to Enid about 6. Foggy as heck and the wind was already blowing.Started pulling cranks on the south side and had my lines out about 80Ft.Bam! caught my first one pretty quick.Then caught another. I thought, man this ain't bad. Pulled about another 1/4 mi. and nothing.Made another pass. Changed line length to 100,went to 150 and caught a white bass.Looked around and just about every boat that was there earlier called it quits. It was pretty windy all day. The ski boats came out and water fleas!I had taken some minners so I started spidering and was able to catch a few more!All of a sudden a wierd looking cloud came up and the wind calmed and looked like the fish on my sonar were coming up off the bottom to feed.Had 3 fish on at one time. I lost a good one on the way to the net I thought to my self, I might do some good right before dark. Nope. That cloud passed and the wind shifted and was coming from 2 directions. East ans south.The fish shut off so quick it was unreal.As I left the lake and was on the way back to the hwy. It had rained south of the lake and not a drop where I was.Here are a few pics!

From what I've experienced, even if you're on the fish, you won't catch them if they're not in that "feeding" time period. If I could produce a call I could blow under water, like a duck call, that would tell them it's feeding time again, I'd be rich. Lol

I was on Sardis and had the same type of day. Started around 9:30ish, caught 3 right off the bat. Caught 2 more right together about an hour later, caught another one about 30 minutes later, then nothing for 2 hours before I called it quits around 1ish and grabbed some lunch at Holliday lodge. Wind didnt seam that bad but it was enough to make the fishing uncomfortable in my 16ft aluminum rig. The ride back to the ramp into the wind and hitting the waves head on was a little testy. Caught 6 keepers, 2 throwbacks, and one gar. Had another one hit real hard but as soon as I got the rod out of the holder I felt it go slack, reeled it all the way in and my crank and snap were gone and I had slime about 3 feet up the line.

Trollin motor was giving me trouble right at the end which contributed to the decision to pack it up. Damn thing kept shutting off on its own. I've got a Powerdrive with a co-pilot and it would beep 3 times then shut off. Id turn it back on and it would troll for a while then do the same thing. Batteries had a full charge and I can usually go over 6 hours on them when they are fully charged and I was trolling with the wind at my back the whole time. I'm wondering if the battery on the remote needs to be replaced? We tried trollin with the outboard for a while but I didnt have anything to drag to slow it down, as sood as I'd put it into gear we'd get up over 3mph, even into the wind.

I ain't sure but I think the motor will keep running if the battery in the remote quits. The remote only sends commands. As far as the fish. Who knows. Later in the day the fish should be deeper especially with some sun. Maybe you were too far above em. When it got cloudy they moved up a bit. But they gotta be hungry as well. But I like slimers too. So what do I know.

Looks like you got some new seats and added some rod holders, hope that boat is still doing you a good job
