Think it was feelay who mentioned a worm sinker 3-4 feet up the line to make a 300 run deeper. Looked for his post but it was too far back to find. I am thinking about a 1/4 oz sinker up the line 3-4 ft followed by a bead and a swivel then some 10 pound mono, a snap and a bandit. Not just for more depth but more depth with less line out. I notice that my line actually runs shallower than you would expect. Like shallow enough to be in someone's motor 50 ft behimd me. it happened on enid a couple of weeks ago. They thought they were far enough to cut behind me and I would have thought so too but they picked up my line. Gettimg it down quicker would be better. Pushing might work but Rees Guide said something about catching fewer fish and that turned me off. If I caught many fewer I would have to bring some back that I caught last year.
