Ok, I have been humbled.
At Sardis today. Started very slow at the place we got our first double limit. Thought it might be the hi-vis line all the way to the snap swivel. Put a mono leader about four feet long on them and things started becoming spotty.
I think mostly the fish are scattered. After reading connersdads report yesterday I thought, "this is going be a sinch". Not so much ! 8 keepers as I sit at holiday waiting out the blow that came across the lake. ds

Well we ended up with 17 and 2 slimmers. One about 4 #.
Going in the morning to the west end of the lake. What I thought I knew has changed in a week. Any ideas about where to find them on the dam end.
Someone said the fish were scattered. That somes up our day. The was no 2 fish caught in the same place. Enjoyed the day on the water. Especially after the blow came thru. It must have dropped 10 degrees and much dryer air from the north.

Wish I could take all the credit for sticking it out. The wife wasn't having anything to do with leaving early. She would absolutely be ok with me and a filet knife in the dark if it meant making just one more pass.
She's talking about getting to the dam boat ramp at dawn. We are an hour away and haven't even been home an hour tonight.
