    That's a good catch Thump! Today was the hottest day we've had this year, I know it was tough out their..

    good mess and looks like some big ones in the bunch.....I see you from Pelahatchie.....when I was a kid my family would drive from Jackson over to Pelahatchie Lake for the day picnicking and fishing from the bank....good memories...around 1952-54....

    When i was a teen my parents moved out there and ran the lake . 72-80 i think . I have caught a many bream , bass and crappie out of that place . And few good catfish . A teenaged boys dream . All summer 3/4 naked teenage girls . Man oh man . I use to catch stringers of bream wading and the old folks that set up there on the piers and fished all day . I would trade stringers with them . Quit wading cause of the snakes .
