    Default Scottv pushing system

Got a chance to talk with scott the other day and picked his brain on pushing cranks. I bought some of his rigs and they got here in time to use this weekend. Here is how they came. Neatly organized. Thanks scott.

Ok I do understand how to troll but I don't have a clue as to how or what you mean you push a crank bait. Please explain?

I put the rod off the front (push)instead of back (pull) u push forward and pull from behind. U need to add wt on the push rod to get the bait down deep fast unlike out the back of the boat. Couldnt imagine running 100 feet line off the front pole as it would go under the boat and get in the motor possibly.

I hear most folks use about 2 ozs of weight to get the crank bait down and tracking correctly.
