Default found out how long my batteries will last on my terrova.

Sardis today pulling bandits. black bubble gum and mad cow about 120 back in 27 feet or so was decent for newbie crank pullers. two of us only got 20 with 6-7 shorts and lost a dozen or so missed fish. 5 hours and I went from pulling 1,7 to almost nothing over about 2 minutes. Didn't taper off just boom and it was down. pulling cranks is fun but Braided line is the work of the debil!! Plus 18 foot poles are tough to handle! Lures would flip over neighboring poles and tangle. thebn the long poles would attack each other and make a mess. The armada was out in force down by coontown but we never got close to the group. By the time we got trolled over there they had dispersed. All in all I am hooked.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Which pound thrust you got?? Get away from them long poles, they will work you to death. When running 10 poles my longest 2 are 14 foot, anything less than 10 poles my longest is 12 down to a of 4'10"s.

Glad you had fun, it will just get easier as far as getting it all together.

Catch 'em faster and you won't run out of juice. Me and 'flinger got our 30 in less than 3 hours.

Great job gomer. Sounds like a good time. Takes some time on the water to figure out how to keep them baits apart

I had 2 year old group 27 batteries that came with my boat and they did that few weeks back. I was going fine doing 1.5 on 4 and the next time I looked it was on 8 to maintain that speed. I went and bought some new Group 29 size (Everstart Maxx) and I did 1.6 from Cole's point (Lake Marker 2) to almost Toby Tubby (Lake Marker 8). It stayed between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 the whole way.

Rees offered some legit advise that i'll 2nd...i dont use nothing longer than 12's when pulling cranks. also.. braid aint that bad if you'll make 100% sure there's NO slack in the line when you set the pole in the holder.
