Installed tilt on my 1989 Tracker that has a 40 Mariner. The unit is a Panther. The tilt works fine except that it raised my motor about four inches . As long as I go slow every thing is fine but as soon as I get on the gas the prop cavitates. Question: has anyone had this problem? And will a "wing" mounted on the motor stop the cavitation?
