    Please don't go on FJ tourney days!!! It was about 40mph for the last one at Sardis!!!! We all survived tho!!! It looked like the Gulf when Katrina hit!!!!

    As some alluded to wind direction is very important also. If it is a steady 15+ breeze, If from the North or South you can be pretty safe on that side of the lake. West wind you can stay by the dam. East wind, forget it even at a steady 10+ sometimes.

    1448 not familar with that boat style. The last 4 or 5 trips to sardis dealt with winds . Sardis or any big lake can turn on you in a hearbeat.

    Been on Toledo Bend with wind that made me park my procraft on the bank.
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

    I have said it before and I will say it again all weathermen went to barber college so if it says 5 to 10 add another 5 to 10 onto that and wannabe is ugly
