    Donnie, I picked up a couple of your Gnats from Tommy's Trading Post to try out when the fish move back to the deep water.

    they work well in shallow water too 2 feet or less just a little harder to get a good hookset for me anyway

    I have just started hand tieing jigs and believe it or not caught most of my fish on the white head/solid chartruse body jig I tied below


    It is an awesome feeling when dad was wanting to cut his store bought tube jigs to put on one of my hand tied jigs. Only bad thing was i forgot all of them at home except the one that on my pole lol

    Way to go Mac. There's nothing like catching a slab on a jig you tied. Nice boat too.
