For a minumal fee I've use WB out the back of the boat with a 20 foot rope and he digs his heels in. Wears out after an hour or so, but by then we usually have a limit. lol
don't take long to catch a limit of one!

I saw a guy in Clearcreek Sunday with a brushpile tied to the front of his boat, and was drifting around with it. and saw a boat down on the lower lake at Sardis on Monday with this big black thing sticking up above the big engine, and I kept watching him to see if he was catching any fish. never saw him catch anything, but did see what that big black thing on the back of his boat was for. it was for dragging behind the boat to slow him down. and it was raised and lowered by hydraulic. pretty cool rig.

Thanks to all. I bought two 6 foot section of chain. Used one today and it about brought the boat to a stop. Awesome technique.
