If you are planning on staying anywhere in Grenada be ready to lock up your rods in your room and lock down everything in the boat! Best bet is to contact Wannabe on the Miss OT board and he might let you park it at his house.

New buck brush everywhere in the coves at Arkabutla. Should be a single polers dream come true this year starting right now. No need to wait for March.

Arkabutla is the GEM of crappie lakes and much safer. If boat breaks down you can walk out in most locals. Barnett is the most beautiful fishery by far and the numbers of crappie are a secret to most out of staters. Plus Green britches not a problem unlike up here where they stake us out on the ramps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sharphook, i must be doin somethin wrong. took up crappie fishing two years ago and fish sardis and butla quite often and have yet to be checked or even seen a warden. and from some of the fish i saw folks at butla keepin last year i wish they would be there more often. i saw lots of short fish goin in coolers without even checkin the length. if you stay legal you should be glad to see em at the ramp.

Looks like my pop is dead set on Grenada. Im not much of a spider rigger, I prefer jiggin deep cover. Any tips on spider rigging on Grenada would be awesome. Heck I might even trade some good info for some info on KY Lake

My first choice to single pole would be Grenada, sardis, enid then Butla.I prefer Butla but still a little early, and with the lack of fish and abundance of cover it won't be easy.
