Yes I have caught them down around 1.2mph but the majority are in the 1.5 - 1.8mph range. I usually use my Terrova for those speeds. My 30hp Mercnormally pushes me around 2.2mph. I have caught them at that speed. I don't know where the top speed is. I'm thinking of getting a sea anchor to slow me down with my outboard so I can use either. Are there any good posts or sites that I could read to learn the ins and outs of using sea anchors??
Thanks dad for teaching me to love crappie fishing!!

Try a drift sock, or a 5 gallon bucket tied off to the boat to slow ya down. Or a trolling plate. If ya have a terrova sounds like you already have the most economical and worry free way to pull

Got this one at 1.7 in 43 degree water. Not a bandit, but a different yet similar sized brand.
