    Default Bait shop

Going to be fishing Sardis in early March, what's a good bait shop in the area? Stayed in Grenada last year and got bait before going to Sardis. Staying in cabin at Cossar State park this year. Thanks for any info.

And Vic doesn't sell retail. That would whizz off his wholesale customers. Gewber.

I don't buy minnows much but use them in the summer time. I buy 2 dozen when I do. I have noticed the stores that count them individually and here are a few. Bucks, lake way, and cross roads count individually. Now if you want to pay for 2 dozen and get 8 dozen go to store headed toward water valley on 315 coming from 6, also the store on the way to pats bluff, and the store on pope/courtland at the end of bell road will load u up. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Well I think it all comes down to how often they see you in their store.

if your going to be traveling close to Paragould Ar go to Pillows bait shop they sell by the pound minnows Rosie reds goldfish rice slicks. They bag them with oxygen they last two days in a bag should be enough time to get them to the lake. Buy a bait net basket and tie it to a tree. That's what I do when I want bait. Minnows are about 6 bucks a pound there are about 10-12 dozen a pound. Bag is a dollar or two. Goldfish are 3.50 a pound. Rosie reds are 7 a pound. Great place for bait. Give them a call.
