Clear Cr is a good place to hide from that W wind, you can launch right there or at Pat's Bluff. I saw 14 mph on weather channel, where did you hear 43mph? A lot of people have been fishing around Teckville but the W wind will beat you up pretty bad on that end.

I got that off accuweather, because i saw 10 to15 earlier but feelays comment made me get a second opinion on my weather source.
I recently deleted accuweather from my list of favorites because they have been wrong so many times lately. Going to try the weather channel for a while and see how they do.

Hey yikes dont try weatherbug they suck to, i couldnt get accu on my phone to work let me know how the weather channel does.
I agree on Accuweather, it seems like they put a lot of emphasis on the gust factor. Weather channel gives you more of an average wind speed but it isn't 100% right either. Don't get me wrong, 14 mph is still no picnic, there will probably be some pretty heavy gusts involved and the rollers will be rollin but it's usually fishable up in Clear Cr from that direction if you can slow down enough. I'm gonna see what Pickwick feels like on a 14 mph wind tomorrow myself but not crappie fishing![]()
