minners vs. jigs

I myself like to use minners on a jig.

minners on a small slaters type jig...

THe best ones to ask would be the crappies, but since none of ask speak papermouth, use both, until you find what they seem to like that day.

There are days they won't hit anything but a minnow, other days a jig, and others a jig tipped with a minnow. I try it all and give them what they want. This year a straight jig has worked the best for me.
