Didn't dnowif the pic would work. Came down for the weekend because we are planning to come the first week of March. Caught 5 keepers. Tried to catch them single poling around brush in 4 ft of water. No luck. Caught 4 off one brush pile in 7ft and the other in 10ft with the crowd. Looking for all the help we can get the first week of April. Usually fish KY Lake but the water is all messed up this year. Look forward to chasing my first 3 pounder in MS.

I can't wait to get down there. Not wanting to fill the freezer or anything just want to catch some good fish. Coming down the 27th and staying the whole week. We are staying at the state park close to the dam.
    Nice fish!!!

Had a mistake in original thread. We are coming the first week of April. We are staying at Wallace Creek Campground on Enid. Centrally located so we can get anywhere the fish are biting.

Unfortunately that has never been a worry. If I can find 20 of these type fish I will gladly put down the pole and pick up my glass and celebrate.

that's not my style. I would like to keep a limit one or two days and I'll be good. Save some for seed so I can keep coming back and catchn' em.
