You know you don;t HAVE to have line counters but it sho do make it easier on ya. I've done the zebco 33's and pulled out line 5 feet at a time til I got where I wanted them

i think counting line would work just as good its just that line counter reels are a lil faster getting the line back in the water but counting the line would be cheaper then buying line counter reels.

The line counter reels make it easier, faster, and a lot more accurate. There is a source where you can get the Okumas for $24.95 .

thats what i payed for my okumas line counters and i love those things very accurate.

Hey MIke....don't pay any attention to Scott. I am coming to learn some new tricks and as you can tell by all their pictures....they know lots of tricks.

thanks bud. i may can make it out friday. i would love to get some new tricks in on catching some slabs.
