I haven't been down in a few weeks, but a buddy told me that Enid has fell about 6 foot or so. Is that true.

I just checked and it was like 246.6, I thought it was up to about 255 not too long ago.

Is this the normal time they draw it down?

How has the falling water affected the fishing?

It's normal. There getting ready for potetial rain in the Fall. Get use to it, as it can help you instead of hurt you.

I understand about the fall and winter draw downs, but it just seems a bit early.

With the cooler days and nights, do the fish move shallower, or let me ask a different question, what does the shad do with this type weather?

Yes, Enid is very low. I was out there for about an hour and a half this evening and I tried to go back up in a creek that I like to fish after a rainfall and it was completely dried up.

Talked to guy with the corp at Walmart saturday and he said they will start the butla draw down this wednesday and gonna lower it to do some more work on the ramps. Probably won't be fishable from about mid september through December or so.
