The last I looked the wind said 9 mph at 10 o'clock... Where do you keep getting your weather data?

    Default Try Accuweather

They're always alot closer than Wunderground. I've been keeping up with it pretty close for the last year of so and they are closer to being right. Just remember that if anyone says anything about wind speed, add 6 to 8 MPH while on the water. Man, I live about 3 or so miles from the rez and can't tell you how many times I've looked out back and not a leaf was moving, then get to the rez and white capping. 9 MPH is 15 is the water

Awe man... I'll bring a surf board... One way or the other I am going. Whether I have to pull cranks north of 43 or ride the causeway, I will be on the water! Still doesn't look too bad up until 10 o'clock or so:

what a weekend it sucked. the water didnt look that bad at 1st was putting in at beach point by myself i unloaded the boat like ive done a million times parked the truck and came back and my boat was sideways on the ramp taking wave after wave. i tried to drive it back on the trailer and the backend was literally under water. so no fishing for me had to let my boat dry out maybe next time.
