Default help needed rigging boat for crappie

I would like to rig my boat for trolling with a spider rig. I would really like to see what others have done. If possible I would like to see them in person. I live in Clinton and if anyone near me has a bass boat setup with a spider rig, I would love to come look at it and ask many questions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I live in Ridgeland, and have a 16' Bass Tracker Pro with a seven rod spider rig on the bow. I really like it but I've only been doing this for a few months. You are welcome to check out my boat any time. (I do work a lot of hours, but we'll be able to work out a time.) PM me with contact info.

Right now, I'm checking out rod holders for "pulling chranks", which I've been trying to figure out. Still checking.

Also, check out all the responses to "Pulling Chranks101" thread from a few days ago. Lots of good info and pictures.

majflyboy-- check out Driftmaster web site. Look at the T-5100 ones. They are great and very sturdy. I have them on the back of my boat and they are great. If you need me to I can send you some pictures of the way my whole boat is set-up. Let me know if I can help.

+1 on the Driftmaster T-5100. I had them on my alumacraft and movingg em this week to the War Eagle. I do not think you can beat them for pulling cranks.

I'm in Brandon and would be glad to show you how my boat is rigged out. Actually I will be doing a complete overhaul on my boat this weekend. I will be installing all Driftmaster products on my boat. I will have the T-bar system with gunslingers on the front, The T-5100 for cranks on the back sides and 2 of the double rod holders on the back. I will be installing this Sunday if you would like to check it out.

thanks for the replies so far.

Mississippi slab, is yours a bass boat? I guess my biggest concern is stowing the TM with rod holders in place. I am sure there is an easy answer, but not having any experience I just don't know without seeing. I have a ranger 354 and my bow does have a good amount of room. I just want to make sure I don't go thru a lot of learning cost to get to the right setup for my boat. Thanks for ya'lls patience with a newbie. Thank you majflyboy

My boat is a custom built F&F. It was my first attempt at designing my own boat. My partner MSCRAPPIE33 has a bass boat though and he will be helping me with my trolling racks this weekend. There are racks out there that move to allow the trolling motor to go down though.

    Default Rig Boat

I live in Clinton. I have a Ranger and a G-3 with a stick. Both are set up for spider rig and long line perch jerking.

My cell is 601-750-1745 if you want to come by. You are wise to look at the different set ups unless you like to drill and redrill.
