Ok I have had way to much time off work so I decided to learn how to post pics. These were caught last fall off of cranks here in AR and what caused me to try and learn how to crappie fish. Hope this works.http://s741.photobucket.com/albums/x...t=IMG_0148.jpg

Was on the Rez yesterday just up-river from 43 & saw Paul Johnson pulling cranks. Haven't heard yet if he did any good, but water temp was 45. I did Ok pushing spinner baits.

Major who is Paul Johnsan? That name sounds familiar.

I misspelled his last name, should have been Johnson, he is a writer for the Clarion Ledger and another mag, I can't remember. But he was pulling cranks from the back with a remote controlled TM.

Haven't tried any cranks yet. Thought the water temp had to be 60 or so. Was only 45 Thu.

Yeah I knew the water temps were not in the target range for catching, but was just curious to see if those 6 pack baits ran true enough to buy up a bunch while they were still available at that price.

I was in Bass pro yesterday and noticed they had the 300 series in a crappie version. They looked good. I didn't know they had added these.
