I set the drag real lose G Once I get a fish on, just tighten the drag and reel her in

Steve got me some Power Pro 20 lb braid at Bass Pro the other day and I'm gonna give it a try.

Let me know how it works.

That's the braid I use. I have it in High vis yellow and Orange. Helps me see where my lines are when I'm turning or bringing a fish in so I doin't get tangled as often

Yep beagle man say's that's all I am, a carp fisherman. I told him he needed to see that theropist that used to be a drill sergeant.

Do ya'll, who use it, use braid for spider rigging too or just pulling?

Maj, I personally use it on everything. Now when they are real picky I will use a floro leader

I've been using it on everything but trying out some 8 lb test Sten Gold this fall on spider rigging to see if I can tell any differnce. I got a deal on 2 boxes of 330 yards for like 8 bucks so I figured I'd try and see if there is any difference. I do have 500 yards of orange braid on standby though LOL
