Don't the coe lakes have a 5 rods per person limit anyway?
I think its 3 poles per person on Grenada and 5 per person on the other COE lakes....and no limit everywhere else.
Thanks Maj and all you others with such good info, spent most the afternoon at bps trying to figure out which colours of bandits to purchase. Maybe the crappie will take some likeing to the 200's and 300's now in my tackle box. Hey, by the by, it looks like a #6 hook on the 200's, so bps is now out of the red ones as well.. not being greedy, they only had 2 packs.. :)
For those who've asked, here are some pics of the rod holders E-Z made and installed on my boat. The pics appear to be 2-pole holders but they are actually 3-pole holders with the third holder removed. Remember, I'm committed to starting this pulling crank thing with four rods.

I'm really looking forward to trying them out. BTW. My HB 788 ci dual beam, GPS with map card came in today. WOO HOOOOO!!!:D:D
majflyboy? Is that a 16' pro bass tracker you are fishing out of? If it is I have the same boat. I pulled cranks out of mine last year on small lakes and had a lot of fun. I didn't get up courage enought to try the COE lakes. How does the boat handle rough water and wind? I would like to try the COE lakes this year. Any comments appreciated

I'm sure you know that rough water is also rough in the boat for this size boat anyway. In spite of that I really like my boat. Just got it 6 mos or so ago after not fishing for 10 years. Was looking for a 14' jon boat with a 20hp or so when I found this one.Quote:
