I pull with poles straight out the side. Parallel to the water. The charts are a reference only. Once you find the depth the fish are, keep all the rod tips the same distance from the water, you can use your line counters to duplicate the depth over again. And stay at the same depth.

It's been my experience, however right or not, that the depth of ur bandit starts where the line goes into the water. As an example, if u have ur pole high enough to where there's 10 ft from ur rod tip to the water, then u'll have to subtract that from ur line out counter to get close to the bandit depth in ref to the chart. If I have my poles high, and I do the ones out the back, I usually let out line till the bandit is in the water then zero the counter.

Wow......Do i feel like a dummy? So simple, yet it did not even dawn on me and I spent several hours trying to figure it out this afternoon. I guess thats why they call you EZ, huh? LOL!!!

I have read all the post thru page 59 so far....now I'm in the camper with the boat ready to start pulling cranks in the morning here in Tennessee.....I want to thank all of y'all for the information on this site....I think this is what the site was crated for......

It was mentioned about using 5 gallon buckets to slow trolling speed down. How many buckets did you use? I have a 17' boat with a
90hp. Was wondering a good place to start.

Roach i have mine set up for 3 1 coming off each side and a rope half the distance of my side that connects with a bucket in the middle about 8ft behind motor. I used it 1 with all 3 but decided 2 worked just fine. Ive also got a 17ft with a 45hp. I hope you understand that i almo st confused myself tryinging to write it on phone. Hope it helps out.

Hey Roach I have a 90 Yamaha and two buckets work just fine. Put one on both back corners and speed is about 1.6 to 1.9.

Anybody troll anything other than bandit 100,200,300's? There are alot of other bandit models on their website that are in the clearance but do not hear anyone using any of them.

I pull some Hot Tots and G pulls some off the wall stuff as well. Bandits in 300s and 200s seem to be my go to tho.
