Not fresh, just don't mine going to a new lake and learning new things. Isn't this why we fish different lakes? If you prefer to fish your favorite lake all of the time, why fish the FJ's?

I have been fishing every weekend and had a week off . I have caught some good fish . the 16 I caught Saturday what females I had still had eggs . Of the big fish I caught Saturday more were males And the eggs are ready in the white ones to drop . I caught several males and females together . In6-8 foot of water. I think ya'll will have good fishing if the weather hold up . The wind is a killer at Barnett . If it is above ten it is trouble . I personally will be fishing somewhere whether in the FJ or just fishing . I may be taking my step son for his birthday . I will see ya'll anyway .
CATCH THEM ALL.
I went Sunday and caught a limit by 10:00 am in 5-7 FOW on top of a ledge. 1 over 2 lbs, rest just decent fish. Caught over 20 yesterday. Like previously said females full of eggs. My opinion is it is peaking now. Good luck to y'all.
Fishing new lakes is the reason I started fishing the FJ's. If it wasn't for gthem, I'd only fish Barnett and maybe Eagle. now since I fish the FJ's, I've learned alot about lakes that I normally wouldn't have ever fished. It ain't all about winning, it's getting together, learning new things and having fun

It appears you have it all figured out BRM. I hate you have forgotten so much about crappie fishing. I still can't figure out why a man of your surperb fishing abilities would not be willing to go down to Barnett and show us younguns how to tackle such a beast as Barnett. It would be pure pleasure to see you bring Barnett to its knees.
