If the lakes are deep it may take a few more days to warm up enough to get them to slide in close. They may be just off of the shallows in the 1st cut of say 10 FOW.
Take a locator to see if you can mark those suspened fish. Then verticle jig them over the side of the boat like when I ice fish.

Nothing beats a crappie dinner from cold water,not even walleyes.
