The water temps tonight at the docks in Lake Pepin were down to 44 degrees. Below the Alma dam the water is riding the 47 degree fence. The crappies in both locations should be on a real tear now. The walleyes and sauger will also be looking hard at a jig with plastic.

This is my favorite time of year to fish.
