Looking for a good spot

Hoping I could get some good advice from you guys up north. I was at Duluth Air Force Base back in the late 60's and loved the fishing up there. I would like to plan a trip up there next June. It will be a long one since I now live in Pittsburgh,Pa. I would like to find a really good crappie lake, maybe some walleye, a nice resort with nice cabins, docks and launch to spend a week or so with my wife. Thanks for any info!!!
