Thread: Christmas Brought No Gifts.

On the eve of the Olympics, I took Z and his buddy out to Christmas Lake, near Excelsior, MN. We fished via canoe and worked the outer weed edges and pockets, with a single 8" crappie, numerous sunnies, and some LM bass later that evening. The prize catch was the baby softshell turtle Z hand-caught near the ramp.

Oh to be a kid again. Sounds like a good day. Actually, any day spent with your kids is a good day.
