Thread: Sam and I

Sam Ashby and I have talked for a while here on CDC and then He joined the club as a non boater. Just a real nice guy and he also ties his own, so we have lots to talk about. Been trying for a year to get it together for a trip and today was the day, with a little help from a Doctor appt later today. We didn't set the world on fire but we had more than any other boat was saw or talked to. Met at 6 and fished til almost noon with 6 in the box for our efforts, hope it's enough for dinner Sam. Minnow tipped jigs and trolled cranks were what we tried and nothing stood up as being the better pattern for the day. I know y'all recognize the pic so I wont identify. It was a fun day, almost no wind to deal with, just slow for caught fish. Maybe again soon......
