early in the week the weather forcast for this saturday was low40's,so i made other plans that include a trip to the bass pro shop in nashville.i understand that wally marshall is to give a seminar@2:00.i've been needing a new trolling motor so i'll look at them while i'm there.it's a tough trade ,but the wife wants to check out the rest of opry mills while we are there, she needs a new sewing machine.i think we will end up with both, that way we will both be happy:D.i talked to a guy today, who said that the fish was really biting in scottsboro (north sauty under bridges).he showed me some nice pics of fish he has caught there lately, several over 2lbs.i finally got my alabama fishing license,i'm ready to try the bama waters

Hey BOS, Heres an idea that worked for me. Send the wife to the mall and you sneak into Bass Pro .

That does not work for me. Mine has caught onto my tricks now and i have to go to other methods. got busted today when a new rod showed up in the mail and she saw it. " Don't you already have a few dozen fishing rods?" Yes honey but this one will help me catch more fish!:D Gotta love it.

I am going to bass pro Sunday for the seminars too. Going after some needed (wanted)lures, ect. Taking an old reel for a new one and save some $$ on the trade in deal. Hope to see you there.

Went on a road trip with the wife today down to the Lake Guntersville area to locate a hotel and ramps, just get to know my way around. Bass boat central. Tournaments everywhere, 15mph winds gusting 20 to 25. Glad I wasn't fishing. Going down for a couple of days in early april, lookin for crappie and a few bass on topwater(I hope). Had a nice day and found all I went to look for.

Depends on the purchase amount of the new reel. If your new reel sales for like 75.00 dollars then you get $15 off. They are tricky like that.
