and the report is not good. Wind kept us off the deeper part of the lake for most of three days, so we had to fish the cypress trees where it was sheltered. They had a cold front come thru, and the water temps. ranged from the mid 40's up to the low 50's depending on how deep the water was. I only caught one stinking crappie!!!!
It is a really neat lake with lots of different structure and I would love to go back again, but might need to be a few weeks later next time.
Did manage to meet a couple of good ole boys from the Tenn. C.com board. They really tried to put us on the fish, but the wind was a real factor. Almost sunk my boat on day trying to get across the lake.
So Mike...let's decide where and when this fishing trip/thing is going to happen. You can ask for peoples timetables, but I think you will become frustrated with trying to meet everyones schedules. You should just set a date out far enough so that the people who really want to make it happen have time to line things up. Pick a lake...if Hudson is the place then that's the place. Sounds like Fowl is the only one that knows the lake very well, so I'm always up for checking out a new fishin' hole.
