    Just got home,

Have trailer plate, and Michigan Registration.

Tried explaining to Skillet & Ready, that this has “Steps” that need to be taken, before it gets hooked and on the water.

Next up is dinner out, with Jennifer who will pick the color scheme for the Registration numbers.

Then the Traxstech tracks, color choice then purchase & installation.

Somewhere in there I need to take the back deck off and wire for the electric Downriggers.

After that I will be done and ready to go chase Salmon & Walleye.

With Firearm Deer Season approaching, I won’t get stuff out into it until next week.

    OE

Sorry for the loss of your Dad , now and all those years. However, it appears he really thought well of you. So smart to use your money wisely first, then for fun after. Hope the boat gives you many great times. Oh, and can you take me fishing? lol

    D,

Skillet & Ready, are practically BEGGING to go Walleye fishing, and I can dang well bet that it will happen, just not sure when.

I took some inventory, and replace the Ball Mount today, I want to adjust the safety chain, Need to install some Tracks for my Salmon Rod Holders, and remove the back deck, and wire for electric down riggers.

Somewhere in there, Firearm Deer season is approaching, and I have a color maven wife who has already said that the silver tracks need to be removed as they are "UGLY" so those need to come off.

She was the designer of all the colors on my old boat, and every one thought it was awesome.

She looked over the colors tonight, and is going to think over the registration sticker, and colors, and get back to me.

That's the start, somewhere in there, I want to add a VHF radio as well. but for starters, I still have lots to get done.

Aaron as much as we tease you, what Rich said I think we would have to agree on.

Me: Can you make it to Crappie Camp?
You: No, Austin has a wrestling meet.

Me: Can you make it to Fall Camp?
You: No, I have to go to Olivias recital.

Me: We are going up to Houghton Lake for a couple days, wanna join us?
You: I can’t go, Avalon has prom.....when do you think I’ll have time to do these things Steve???
Me: About 10 years after your youngest graduates college.

Point is, you put others first and I’m glad to see you are able to pay off your mortgage and buy a boat, maybe you can somehow have Jen do some kind of tribute to your boat honoring your dad.

We are still gonna tease you, you bald ginger with the Superman undies!

Thanks Steve, & Rich (even though I only quotes Steve's Quote)

Despite your joy of a plan, I feel awkward at times, as I can not accommodate, and plan that far ahead.
A few reasons, and the most important, is that I would feel guilty, well not guilty, but "Less Fatherly" if I were not there for my kids. If I'm on a boat, and they are at Wrestling, Boot Camp Graduation, Choir, recital's Water Polo, Swimming, etc. I would probably be beside myself, chastising myself silently while putting on a happy face pretending to enjoy fishing. & that is not how I like to fish at all.

My trip's are mostly spur of the moment, as time opens up and i GO, and those for anyone, who has fished with me, Steve, Skillet, Ready2F, can attest, are GREAT TIMES and relaxing, and cherished by myself, due to lack of free time. One of my favorite trips last year was a spur of the moment trip to the DR, with Steve & Possum.

I want my kids to have a Dad, that I never had, and to be truthful, I often times put stress on myself, to make that happen. Mostly because, I have not had a guide (Dad) on what type of person (Dad) I am supposed to be, so I have been winging it.

Last week Mon-Wed was boat purchase planning, and conversation,
Thursday was the "Yes, its confirmed, Road trip", AND Swimming Conference.
Friday was Prep for trip, and 2nd day of swimming conference.
Saturday was Wrestling at MCC, and get home and have truck loaded and ready to roll by 5:00am.
Sunday was about 12-14 hours in a truck.
Monday was Veterans Day & Work,
Tuesday was a free evening and Jennifer & I went to a local greasy spoon, had dinner, and relaxed.

This week is starting to pick up its pace, as its Firearm deer season.
I'm never NOT Busy, so when that slot opens up to go fishing, you BETCHA, I'm headed out for some liquid GOLD time.

I have to go poke holes in deer this week Friday, then its Adrian Saturday for Wrestling, and Christmas Shopping
Then Sunday through the rest of the following week its poke holes in deer again until my tags are gone.

Then I can focus on the boat.

Yup, going to get busy quick

    OE

Lets see, from that amount of mathematics, I will have more free time, in..........

Well said Steve. Don't worry, if you can't use your boat, I'm sure someone will offer to keep the gas fresh for you!
