When I was really young, my dad would get laid off in the winter. For extra income he would tie flies for a shop in Wellston. I would sit on his lap and I would help him. He would do 100's in an evening. One night we tied "The Richie Bug". We stealhead fished a lot with that fly combo over the years.

I picked it up in sixth grade and won an art show with the flies I tied.

It is an awesome hobby. I have some perch flies you should duplicate. This way, Kevin, Steve, and I don't have to buy them from a store anymore. We will just trade a seat in the boat on a perch outing for them!
