Grumman always mad good boats back then. I've often thought of another boat project but have no place to put it. Probably no time to work on it.

Thursday I picked up oil for the tractor, 70 bags of concrete, and a mixer. Of course, the rental place appears to not check their stuff so it had 1 1/2 cubic feet of hard concrete in the tub and on the paddles. The recoil had hard concrete and it wouldn't retract, and it appears to not have been greased ever. It was their biggest unit and I needed it so I made a deal to clean it to get it for free.

Brian cleaned the motor, I air hammered concrete for 2 hours and got it all cleaned and greased. Friday we poured 70 bags (35 cuFt) in 1.5 hours. We took the thing back, they never even looked at it. To top it off, the owner says "thanks, half price on the rental" then drives away. Both of us were so angry. I felt like keeping it the rest of the day, removing the fuel, filling it back up with concrete, and bringing it back. Note, get a deal in writing!

Today, I changed 2 gallons of engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter, 7 quarts of 80/90 front axle gear oil, 10 gallons of hydraulic oil, and output and suction filter. 530.00 opec will be happy to collect from me. You take care of it and it will last. No idea what it would have cost to have it done!
