Last day was spent with my buddy, Melvin Hicks, fishing on D'arbonne. We only get together a couple of times a year and let me tell you, Melvin is s hoot. We bs'd and laughed and swapped tall tales until 1:30 before we put my boat on the trailer and parted ways. We managed to put around 20 in the box, I'm just guessing, we didn't count. Good size again today. I was recognized today as that guy from up north on Crappie.com. He wasn't a member, but checks in to see what's happening on D'arbonne. Mel was impressed that I'm famous. Well, as famous as I'll ever be. Same program again today, they wanted shiners. Only got 2 on plastics. Heading for home when I wake up, probably 3 am or so.
