Correct. At the North East end of Bear lake, the Bear Creek drains in to it. One of many bear lakes and bear creeks in Michigan. Kind of like Long lake.

Another secret of the area is just how many quality walleyes are caught in Lake Michigan outside of Muskegon Lake, White Lake, Pentwater lake, Pere Marquette lake, and Portage Lake.

We used to come in from Ludington later in the evening and noticed a few boats always fishing after dark. There was never any information about it and it was hush hush but, I know of a few guys that would put limits of big fish in the boat every single night they fished!

Trolling those pier heads and beach areas is awesome in the evenings. Big walleys come in to the sand to chase bait and so do the big Brown Trout.

You don't have to drive far to get on Walleye. Erie and Saginaw have quantity, Lake Michigan has quality!
