Go out and get a copy of the newspaper from yesterday (her date of birth). Go to the bank and get a new 2018 Michigan Quarter, gold dollar, 2 dollar bill, etc...
Maybe go out and buy a new fishing rod. Save these things for the future so you can show what you were doing when she was born and what was happening "that day in history"
I did that with my boys.

Each got a Playboy magazine from the month they were born when they turned 18.
