I've researched different boats over the last few years and, although I like certain brands over another, I look at them all subjectivly. After Jimmy was looking for a boat, I did some looking and was amazed at how the prices shot up on certain brands (Ranger, Triton, Stratus). I've been a huge fan of Warrior for a couple of years now so I was glad when Jimmy decided to order one.

So, like any sane person would do when they have free time, I conjure up some hair brained idea. Of course, I had to get someone else to buy off on it...

    Conversation went like this:
Hey dad, you think we could sell my boat and your boat and buy a new boat?

    Dad: Why?

You have had yours 3 years and have 8 hours on it. We go together 90% of the time. One boat in my barn is better than two (Three if you count Brian's).

Plus, we pool our resources and we can get something really cool!!!!

    Dad: Ya, whatever..

So, you are left to ponder what the term "ya, whatever" really means.
Too much time on my hands makes me dangerous! And broke
In this particular instance, "whatever" proceeded by "yeah" is a clear indication that dad likes the general idea, however sees a financial burden specific to his wallet. Just sayin

Your right Rich it's all about having free time to think about stuff that gets you spending money

Boat is done and wrapped, should make its journey next week

I also had my eye on the boats and I feel they would all be good choices, for me I couldn't go any longer and had to stay under 7 foot high, they say it will fit in my garage so I will be finding out soon

Cute kid, Steve. But do I see lumber stacked on your boat in the background? What the heck???? This summer when we take your boat fishing, I'm going to refuse to put on the Tyvek suit and the crime scene shoe covers before I get in the boat.

Jimmy, if it does not fit, let me know, I can kick the Wifes car out of the garage, and you can give it to me.......

Here’s what I was trying to explain to you this morning Jerry.

I need to make 20 of these for the current project...... of course almost every one is different so setting up a jig doesn’t work. Every piece custom cut and fitted.

Don't worry Jerry, he knows he wants me to fish with him however, he also is waiting until the newness wears off. He knows I'll spill worms on the floor, drop fish out of the net, miss the pee jug, and spit chewing tobacco down the side

Yeah, Rich, he tried to get me in one of those plastic bubbles so I didn't soil his pretty boat. Not sure why he let OE and his slathering of spf 666 in the boat.
