Hoping the snakes are still in their winter slumber. I've heard stories of balls of snakes falling out of the trees into boats but hope they are exaggerated. If we happen to end up with a snake in the boat you'll probably hear me screaming here in Michigan. If properly motivated I'm sure I could run across the water like a (rather large ) coot. Only 7 more days till we leave and the excitement is starting to build.
Well it's about time for you to hit the road Jerry, safe travels hope you have a great time.
I appreciate that Steve. Looks like we will have good weather for the trip down. After the last couple of days I'm in the mood for a warmer climate! Glad we didn't get hit with power outages like they were predicting. Sounds like most were ready just in case. Every thing is packed just waiting for Jeff to get out of work. Shot him a text earlier telling him he looked awfully sick and needed to go home early but don't think it will work. Google earth Black Bayou Lake and Cheniere Lake , both in Monroe, La to see what we're getting ourselves into. Also going to fish D'Arbonne Lake in Farmerville and Poverty Point in Delhi. I'll be posting updates during the week.
