Well I finally pulled the trigger and bought a boat. I have been doing a lot of river fishing for the last 14 months so I decided to go with a power drift boat. This picture is basically my boat however I wont have the spiffy artwork on the side. Mine is going to be a little more subdued. I put the down payment down today and I should be picking the boat up in 40 days or so. Little longer than I hoped but I should still be able to squeeze in some steelhead fishing and Saginaw river time.

Sweet Eric. I'll have to admit, although I know of the drift boats, I really don't know all the ways you can rig them up. You will have to look for a jet now, eh?

Life has many choices, eternity has two...choose wisely.
Unapplied biblical truth is like unapplied paint...how many gallons do you have sittin' around? U.D.
I got a 60/40 jet with it. Hopefully with the anchor winch I wont have to do to much rowing and can do a little fishing too.
That's awesome Eric, hope you have fun with it
You get that boat rigged up and figured out hit me up , would love to try some river fishing sometime
Sure things Jim. As soon as I get things figured out I would be happy to have you. Gotta get stuff figured out though because I would hate to just spin you in circles all day long.
Spent many hours on one of them in Oregon fishing for Salmon. Don't ever see one in SC.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
Good for you Eric, hope you enjoy it.

I hope so to Larry! I am sure I will find myself floating on the Au Sable at some point for Steelhead![]()

That boat should be coming in soon right?
Make sure to post some pictures
