Sorry I have not got back with the post, I went fishing a few days! Most of the input suggests that a smaller inland lake in the spring might not be the best.
I think going back to Sandy Beach at Hardy Dam will be best, their is I plenty of room to fish, and we had a nice turn out last time. Also our pets are welcome.
Thanks for the input on this part, do we want to do a fund raiser this time?

Don is correct, if memory serves me, it was about late February or March when I reserved my camping spot.
Sorry to say I won't be making it. I'll be in Moab Utah with the jeep that weekend(2weeks)
